There are places in and around toronto that offer these styles.

For mma type training you can try;
  www.salvosabjj.com   www.linmartialarts.com www.rebellionjj.com www.torontobjj.com

and of course, a quick web search will turn up others as well.

If you would like to learn traditional Jujitsu then I recommend my friend George Cushinan at the Markham Jujitsu club.

It's actually for my wife and not me.  I was looking at Wing Chun for her since she's very small and somewhat weak (~ 5' tall and 95 lbs).

How much do you charge?

Hi SW20_MR2,

I'm a small woman looking for a partner to train martial arts in (5'2 and 95 lbs). I train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu because I find it effective for the smaller and weaker person. Please contact me or have your wife contact me if she's interested in training with me?

Hi Everyone.

This is still available for Cornell residents 18+ years.

Curriculum involves the study of Chinese martial arts with everyday practicality added.

Primary Style is Sil Lum Hung Kuen/Black Tiger

You will be able to learn empty hand sets as well as classical weapons.

You will also learn not so traditional materials such as heavy bag training, focus mitt drills, thai pad drills, partner drills.

Intense cardio and anaerobic sessions to develop strength and endurance as well as substantial resistance training included with the regimen.

Taijiquan is offered by my training partner and as well you may learn Ch'an (zen practice) as well as a variety of health promoting qigongs (chi kung - breath work).

Conditioning drills are also offered for those who are interested in pursuing some of the more difficult practices after they are physically re-established.

I'm interested in traditional jujitsu and want to join the Markham Jujitsu club but the website provided doesn't include an address or schedule. Can you lead in in some direction or provide another jujitsu class I can take?
